A History of The Marfa National Bank

The Marfa National Bank first opened for business in the spring of 1907.  While banking is very different from the early years, the core mission is still the same.  Providing Marfa and West Texas with the finest banking services available while keeping our feet firmly planted on the bedrock of sound financial management.  Our roots run deep.  Three of our board members are descendents of the original 23 shareholders.  Heritage is important but we are also focused on the future and the exciting changes headed our way.  If you are a current customer, we say a heartfelt “thank you!”  If not, then we invite you to join the time honored traditions of the Marfa National Bank.
